Republic of Bananas there. The story is easy to check, and the voting system of 1000 sms per SIM is of course very bad, specially when you give people much time to do that. And then they say "You have don nothing illegal, but we will find something to get you." Nice country!

Continuation of this alleged scandal can be resulted only in one thing - preparation of the wonderful Kaffe band to the contest can be spoit. There are legal ways, and if Mr. Trifonov and Co are sure that they have grounds under their statement they should not continue talking but refer the question to the court.

I personally consider their statements and their attempt to spoil the first national final of Bulgaria as non professional, as we know (despite Ministry of Culture claims) that their song was breaking October 1 rule (released on 8th of August). At least as other artists like Kali, Ustata, Az znam they should have performed it in the National Final, and their refusal to do it is disrespect to all of the viewers.

To Ben Gočev,

I perceive some envy, since you're not telling the truth about the Spanish entries. They're all quite different, but you've just proved yourself too biased against Spain to notice the difference. Anyone who tries to be moderately objective, wouldn't say that Spain enters the same kind of rubbish, because to be a top-3 finisher and gain lots of points from all over Europe is not to be rubbish. Maybe the Europeans have got taste and you seem to ignore it. Be a little more democratic.

Also, it's funny how you put different countries into the same group, because Spain has nothing to do with the Netherlands and Belgium from a cultural point of view.

Finally, I think that it's not right to compare the Spanish-Andorran neighbourliness to the Nordic one. It's not fair that by just one year, Andorra and Spain are put in the same level as the Nordic countries, because one year is not a sizeable sample to talk about political voting. Meanwhile, the Nordic countries have been giving out the votes among each other for decades. Also, in case Andorra and Spain gave their 12 points to each other from now on, they'd be only two countries, whereas the Nordics plus the Baltics are loads. So, both situations aren't comparable at all.

>Lilly Melik-Pachaeva

Ovanes Melik-Pashaev is president of Joker Media - the company that releases the "WINNER'S" albums (actually the band "Kaffe" did not have released full albumns, so they are not very well known...), so Lilly Melik-Pachaeva is not the girl that must talk right now and must not be listened. She is the actual manipulator. NOT SLAVI

Actully the most problable think that happen is that "Joker Media" have bought the WIN of Kaffe. This is part of their PR campaign.

>He used the Bulgarian National hymn to provoke people.
Lilly, on this video all the stadium was singing. I was there and I know how much the people love Slavi.

>Journalists and musicians in Bulgaria are supporting KAffe at the moment!

- ABSOLUT LIE

Everibody knows that Slavi is a honest man, so he do what must be done. He told he people about the LIE. The other musicial where there only to be seen (PR company).

The hypocrisy of "Kaffe" has no limits. We, the bulgarian people are waiting for their excuse. They must not participate in Eurovision.

BETTER TO LOSE WITH HONOR, THAN TO WIN WITH DISGRACE

Boris, are you deliberately missing the point here? I think so, because you seem like an intelligent person. You are listing some friendly nations/neighbours (Andorra/Spain, Monaco/France, etc.). Yes, they are likely to give each other 12 points (like Greece/Cyprus), but they also have to give 10, 8, 7, 6, etc. The point is that the Balkan/ex-YU/ex-USSR countries form part of such HUGE BLOCKS that they give almost ALL their votes to their neighbours/former partners (not only their top mark). In the long run, this will kill the ESC.

Hm.... Well, hello, everybody. I'm Bulgarian and want to tell you something most of you don't know. First of all, the chaos in Bulgaria was blown out of proportion by Slavi who from the first day of the contest declared himself as a WINNER in front of the whole country. He used his own TV show (he's actually a TV host, not a singer) to manipulate the votes and asked everyone to vote for him throughout the whole period of voting. He published articles about his greatness in every newspaper every day. This was sickening and it played him a bad joke. HE used 35 000 votes in the last hour of the voting (and this is very hard to do uless you have prepared beforehand). He used the Bulgarian National hymn to provoke people. And he used a classified information to track the votes. Now, KAffe is a young band, VERY well-known among people who don't listen to Slavi, but to European-style music. They have won an International award in Romania, their songs are at the top of the Bulgarian charts (contrary to some of your opinions), half of the musicians studied music in Berkley and MTV has been asking for their video.

The song might not be to everybody's liking, but among all the songs that were in the contest it was BY FAR the best one.
And maybe you, guys, should give some support to the band that has no fault that Slavi's ego got hurt!!!!!! All the journalists and musicians in Bulgaria are supporting KAffe at the moment! The sms operator gave an official statement this morning that the votes were real, made NOT from a 100 sim cards but from 10 000!!!!! And Slavi had as many calls from one phone number as anybody else!!!! So don't believe what a hurt, full of himself TV host is saying to manipulate people!!! Give some support to Bulgaria!
