6c. EARLY BYZANTINE THERMAS in “Opus Mixtum” - 2/3 have been excavated. Interior was covered with marble. Complex water supplying system was built under the entire town.

5c. The Old Metropolitan Church - highest place of the peninsula - Principle Church of Nessebar 5th – 15th c. St. Sofia (like many other big cathedrals around the Balkans). Floor was originally covered with fine marble mosaic and the walls were painted.

В близост до нея при разкопки през 1968 г. е открита църквата „Свети Димитър 11c. Oт нея са запазени стълбовете, поддържали купола на храма. Семейна църква от 11в.
