4.2. Commitment to goals in other planning and strategic documents - local, regional and national:

The LDS of LIG DEVNYA - AKSAKOVO was developed in compliance with the requirement of Article 63 a) of Council Regulation (EC) 1698/2005 and will support the objectives of the other three axes of the RDP. More precisely, the commitment is direct - the first priority of the LDS serves the implementation of the overall purpose of the RDP, the second priority - the second goal and third priority - respectively the third.

Priorities of the LDS - "Competitiveness through increased added value of agricultural products", "Improving the environment and the rural territory through conservation of natural resources" and "Improving the quality of life and diversification of employment opportunities" are virtually united in the second objective of Measure 41 - "To diversify the economic activities, to improve the competitiveness of local products, to protect natural resources and the environment in rural areas and to develop better services according to the needs and expectations of the local population, to create opportunities for long-term employment and to increase incomes in rural communities. "

The LDS was developed by applying the approach 'bottom - up" with the involvement of local partners at the stage of planning. The local actors will be encouraged to develop joint initiatives, as the candidates will have to demonstrate their participation in microchains - from the agricultural producer through the processor and the merchant to the customer in the market. Not all participants in the microchains will receive funding, but funding even one level of the chain will be support to all the participants in the entire supply chain. This will improve the capacity for joint planning of local partners. This is in line with the first objective of measure 41, and namely "To provide a basis for medium-and long-term sustainable development in rural areas through the implementation of a "bottom-up" approach and to promote "learning by doing" in local communities, increasing their capacity for planning."

The implementation of the LDS strives to achieve the development of supply, focused on the organization of integrated chains between different economic subjects (even from different industries). The increased competitiveness of the chain improves the position and competitiveness of the individual players in their sector markets. This corresponds to the third objective of measure 41 "To promote integrated and sustainable practices."
