184 THE PROFESSIONAL AND PRACTICAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN THE CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION Veselina Petrova There is information received during the last ten years, which is about the practical education of students, studying pedagogical subjects at the University of Veliko Turnovo “St. Kyril and st. Methodius” and at the University of Sofia “St Kliment Ohridsky”. This information is analyzed at the report. The major achieve- ments of the students’ education are made more precise and the reasons and the prerequisites for these achievements are well-grounded. Special attention is paid to the unsolved problems and the need of their studying is defined. Some inconsisten- cies of the transition from one-specialized to wide-specialized pedagogical subjects are described.
